The Muse's Window Gallery is a fine craft gallery and boutique that opened in October, 2001.We are relocating to Concord, Massachusetts at The Concord Depot in October 2006. This website will be updated soon. Thank you your patience and please visit us in Concord. We honor the tactile nature of a finely made item and invite people to touch and handle most of the crafts we display. We welcome you to visit us and enjoy the rich array of creative and imaginative work that will please the sophisticated collector as well as those people who are seeking to purchase an unusual gift or object for the home. The Muse's Window sells both functional and decorative pieces - all of which are made by hand - including furniture, wall art, sculpture, wearable art and jewelry in a broad range of prices. We sell high quality contemporary crafts in all media and feature work that is somewhat whimsical, offbeat and humorous in style. The gallery represents the work of over 200 artisans, including some nationally known artists, but many of the objects on display are made by emerging artists. Although most of the artists represented have been formally trained, some artists could be considered "outsider" artists. The owner, Karin Biow, makes a great effort to find work that is not sold elsewhere in the Boston area. The gallery is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10:30 to 5:30. On Thursdays, The Muse's Window closes at 7:30 p.m. During the fall and holiday season, the gallery will also be open on Sunday afternoons from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m. |
Bridal Registry: For couples seeking to decorate their new homes with unusual, hand-made accessories, The Muse's Window is the ideal place to shop. We also carry heirloom tiaras and other bridal jewelry. Special Orders: We will take special orders of jewelry, furniture or other home accessories that we do not normally carry, as long as we currently represent the artist. Sales on Approval: We allow customers to purchase work on approval for one day. Display and Decorating Assistance: A friendly and creative staff can provide customers with assistance in furniture layout and display decisions. We want the work we sell to be shown at its best, so that others can appreciate the fine craftsmanship and creativity of the many talented artists that we represent. |
